Celebrating 36 years!

I first met my in-laws in the spring of 2000.  I was 16 going on 17 (you should all be singing The Sound of Music right now) and instantly experienced a feeling of acceptance.  During the years that have followed it's been delightful to not only call them family, but also friends.
I would like to take this opportunity to say to thank you!  Thank you for; including me as a member of the family, supporting Dave and I in our decisions, being the world's greatest Papa and Nana, demonstrating what it looks like to stay committed in marriage, raising your son to love and care for his own family, and for being a personal encouragement to me!

Happy 36th anniversary.  I love you and consider it an honor to call you my in-laws.

We are three weeks away from our Disney 2015 vacation, and our house is buzzing with excitement.  It truly is one of the most magical places on earth.  Even my husband, who was once a skeptic, agrees that it's a one-of-a-kind experience! In Christ Alone - This Wife's Perspective on Cancer

The song "In Christ Alone" has been a favorite of mine since I was young, and as an adult it has held me up through some of the most challenging moments!
